Synopsis: The Wandering Wizards

In the year 5063, the world has been torn apart by an even now called the Great Cataclysm. The twelve immortal Wizards who lived in secret, protecting the world, blame themselves for being unable to prevent the event.

The story takes place from the point of view of Ilia, who has awakened as the thirteenth Wizard, 4000 years after the Awakening of the twelth. What this portains, if anything, is uncertain. Every Wizard is the same. Born from nature, they will live forever unless killed, but are then reborn again to experience a Re-Awakening in which they regain all memories and powers. This vicious, unescapable cycle has become too much to bear for the Wizards. Drowning in their own misery, many of them have opted to refuse the world's urge to save it from some new peril.

As an innocent Wizard, Ilia walks the damaged earth, meeting both Wizards and people. From each of them she takes their stories and slowly begins to find that maybe there is a purpose to a world that seems so void of any purpose at all.

This is not a story about Good vs Evil or the accomplishment of some great feat. This is merely the story of Ilia and how she lives... searching for a reason.
