Brief Author Bio:

I'm a costuming author, who makes masterpieces out of humor and the macabre. I've won 2k6 and 2k7 and plan on continueing my writing frenzy in future years.

Synopsis:

My story is a sort of Fantasy Adventure Mystery, involving lizardfolk, undead and villainous octopus headed monsters that want to conquer all.

I haven't quite worked out all the details.

Excerpt:

Shii’suth’s words were cut off when the horrible drone of men and women grew louder, the spine tingling ‘clock’ sound of a key worth it’s weight in age sliding into a rusty, old lock and then the ‘clunk-clink’ of it being unlocked. A massive steel-bar reinforced wooden door creaking awfully on its own ancient hinges, sending a chilled silence throughout the whole prison as the inmates awaited the screams that never came.

Shii’suth could not, of course, see this door swing open, but she did hear the gargling of something that padded into the cell. But Bleith could see, what was there was a well armored skeleton, followed in by several zombies. He noted the amulet around its neck and figured that it probably was an avatar of their captor’s.

This Skeleton observed the room with hollow little pits, looking coldly at the Paladin who glared back at it, it simply turned away, looking at Shii’suth, who was stone-dead silent, and just as still. Not requiring to torture her at the current moment the Avatar Skeleton turned, looking at a laid out skeleton between Bleith and Shii’suth, its bones still relatively still together, held together by still rotting tendons.
