Synopsis: Trust-Fall

In a world where looking good can mean the difference between getting food or starving, Elyth stands out as being noticeably "different". After the death of her family, her tribe banishes her from the planet. She ends up on earth, where at first glance it seems like she's in paradise as the whole planet is overrun with the only thing she needs to eat- humans.

However, it isn't long until she realizes that even in a society full of outcasts she doesn't quite fit in. No one here is willing to get her food, like her family had before they died. After several close calls and on the verge of starvation she meets Nero, an assassin who is having problems getting rid of his victims' bodies.

They enter into a deal. She'll take care of the bodies, and get her food. In exchange he'll keep her safe from the rest of the world. Everything goes fine, despite Elyth's ever-growing feelings for Nero.

But all it takes is one mistake and Elyth's world unravels around her. She must now question whether she really needs Nero in her life... or in her daughter's.
