Synopsis: Stitched Lips: A Beauty and the Beast Revenge Story

Jeremy has been having nightmares of a beautiful mansion, where he is a young girl who inhabits it. When he sees the same building while on a drive, his mind won't rest until he examines it and assures himself there's no girl. He turns out to be both right and wrong; he find the girl and accompanying her is a giant of a man who seems to be playing God in the mansion and succeeding admirably.

Amaryllis sits in her mansion, tries on her dresses, paints her face, does her hair and tells herself that her death isn't so bad. In fact, It's all too easy easy to tell herself that what Odin wants is perfectly reasonable. It's better than what must be waiting for her if she left.

When Jeremy and Amaryllis meet under Odin's manipulation, Jeremy is overwhelmed by guilt and the desire to help the girl and Amaryllis, despite not recognizing him, already has a connection with him. She does everything in her limited power to find what it is and what it means. For his own sake, Jeremy had better pray to whatever god is listening that she doesn't succeed.
