Brief Author Bio:

What was before is before, no longer of concern, but then some of it makes its way into blog posts. My true love writing rough draft poetry - and leaving it that way - since life conversations have no real do overs, though I do edit as I am writing occasionally.

I am lucky enough to have a husband of 35 years who loves acting as much as I do writing, so he encourages me to write during November. We've been married 35 years and we have on incredible adult son who has found his soul mate, too, I think.

53,000 words or so poured out that first year, 2006, with no preplanning - just let scenes and characters pour out at random. Skipped the next year, started it last year with a preconceived idea of sorts, but just was not in the mood. Had no plans to write this year as I am doing NaBloWriMo and a poetry challenge. Sat down on the first late at night and told myself if words came, I would try it again. They came. Now to find time to write.

Synopsis: Just Another Dumb Blonde

Have no clue, decided late November 1, to just sit down and see if words came out... the excerpt below is the first words that came out. Where will it lead? Oh, it led to "Just Another Dumb Blonde" - so far, anyway.

Excerpt: Just Another Dumb Blonde

Nature had run it's course, she said. I had no clue what she meant, nor did I care. She was just another dumb blonde spouting words. I walked away, not even bothering to shake my head, dignify her with a reply, or any of the other cliche things a man might do at that time.

Of course, most woman would say that walking away IS the perfect "what a man would do" cliche. Bite me.
