Synopsis: The Road Home

Two young boys become wards of the state because their mother is mentally ill and can no longer take care of them. The court allows her to retain parental rights on the condition that she goes into a treatment facility. The boys bounce around the foster care system and end up in a shelter. It turns out that the "mental illness" is inherited and is a supernatural power she doesn't know how to control. A 'guardian' gets custody of the boys and recognizes their power and begins to search for the mother.
