Excerpt: Project Five

My name is not Julie. Nor is it Sarah, or Beth or any of those other common names you have heard of for so many hears. In fact, I’d be surprised if you have heard my name at all, especially if you are American. My name is Aglaia. It is Greek and it means brilliant. Trust me on this one, sometimes that is the worst part of a last name to have. Everyone always expects you to live up to the meaning of your name. Does it work? Not really. You may be wondering, who I am. I’ll tell you, all in good time, dear reader, but to tell you all at once would be to give away the story am going to share with you. And to give away the story would be to leave you with nothing to do but set down this book or better yet, throw it away.
But I will tell you this- I am apart of Project Five. What is Project Five, you ask? Well, I guess you will have to keep reading to find out. But I digress, from the point. YOU are hear to find out about my life, not hear me ramble in secrets and codes that you do not even understand. So let me start by telling you what I know for certain. My name is Aglaia Tatiana Belanov. I am a part of Project Five. This is my story.
