Excerpt: Andrew through the Looking Glass

“Oh my God, you never listen to me. This is freezing hell here, Andrew, not Little Women. We are not creatures of the snows, do you hear me? We ought to be on the beach, looking at girls in skimpy bathing suits!” Jonathan threw himself backwards onto his bed, small hands flying up to cover his face.

The bathing suit argument didn’t seem to be making much of an impression on Andrew, who turned back to the window. “If Warren were here, he’d go sledding with me. I bet he’d like that, flying down a hill with a hat on his head and gloves on his hands, and my arms around his waist.” He drifted off.

Jonathan shook his head, eyes closed. “You are a sad, sad man, Andrew. Warren would tell you you’re out of your freaking mind and get on the next plane out of Snowville.”
