Synopsis: The Back of my Front

For as long as he can remember, his mom has been homeschooling him. But now Ian McCloy is not only starting his first year of high school; he's starting his first year of public school. Naturally, Ian expected problems: new friends, new teachers, and a whole new atmosphere. One thing he didn't expect was how far behind he was, or rather, how much he knew was wrong. These people did strange things like greeting each other with hello instead of goodbye and calling what he thought were feet hands. Now he's attending a school that seems like Bizarro-world and going home to a family that refuses to discuss the difficulties he's facing. How's Ian to get by when everything he knows is fake?
