Falling Slowly Into Hell

My memory is a clear today as if the events of that year run like a motion picture in my head. Every detail, down to the tint of the pavement under the sun, stands clear in my mind. Those days in which my life spiraled to where it is now. My path was chosen for me, and as you read these words that I place on this paper, you may think me deranged, and you would be right. Perhaps you may think that I could have turned back at any moment, turned to professionals who would have rescued the tatters of my old life and given it back to me. But ask yourself this:

Would you have turned your back on the wonders I was shown, the answers I was guided to, just for a little morality?
