Brief Author Bio: While my publishing credits are in the adult market, my passion (read dream) lies with juvenile literature. And even though I write for and edit a monthly newsletter for a local youth group, I won't consider myself an author in the juvenile market until one of my chapter books or middle grade novels can be found on the bookshelves of Barnes and Noble. Synopsis: Burnt Offerings
When Joelle Hawn, a self-absorbed gen-xer, gets duped by her con-artist fiance, she loses her home, job and money. In a fit of anger, she deposits her engagement ring into the offering plate of a struggling church in the small, conservative town of Gatlin Springs and sets off a series of events that lead her, the church and the community on a tangled journey of change. Joelle must decide to abandon Gatlin Springs to save herself or stay and save the (pastor/church/community).
