18 year old Jackson is fighting a loosing battle. When a new coach brings a new system, and his son, to Carter High School, Jackson is pushed back to the number two running back slot in an unfamiliar offense. He knows that he will never receive the much needed scholarship if he doesn't win the starting position, but more importantly, he can't stand the thought of disapointing his dying father, whose last wish is to see his son attend college. Lessons In Line Backing is a story of a young man struggling to find a spot on the team, and forced to face the many harsh realities of adulthood. During this process young Jackson discovers that, although he has never played on the defensive side of the ball, he has a knack for impact!
