Beginning again

Originally the place at Yackandandah had been a simple two bedroom weatherboard cottage. My parents had wanted it to be as self sustaining as possible. So they left the cottage but had built a brand new building. Of course it had been built using alternative energy technology. For starters it was an earth shelter building. Yeah, that’s right just like a hobbit hole from Lord of the Rings. They had even put in round windows with leadlight dragons.
