Synopsis: Immolation

For some of us running away is never hard to do. In this heated tale of trust and betrayal our characters find that in their lives it is quite the opposite.

Brandi Belle had never been slow on admitting her mistakes, so when she found herself falling for the sweet nothings cooed to her by her handsome college junior Pete and whining up pregnant on her first time round the track, so to speak, she accepted her blunder and was more than pleased to work along with him towards a shot gun solution (literally) to saving their young lives and dignity.

The prompt strangeness of a young marriage was made all the more complicated by the death of the soul thing that brought them together and when her husband hit the ground running as far away from her as he could get after getting the news that had been the straw that broke the camels back. So, with a quick acquire of the keys to his antique car, she quickly followed suit, disappearing to an island in the Caribbean where she swiftly forgot all of her unfortunate history, unwilling husband and all.

Four years later after denial had set in deep enough to convince her that it was okay to move on despite her husbands refusal to sign divorce papers, Brandi is shocked to walk into find her husband, still refusing to relinquish said title had come to claiming a new one; that of ‘Boss’

Meanwhile, Roger Nelson who has been in love with Mrs Belle since the first day he saw her walk the school halls finds himself with a responsibility no teacher should have to carry, the life of an abandoned and hunted transfer student who’s mother promptly dies of mysterious causes after begging him to marry her daughter before her murderous, tradition following, acult family members took her out of the picture.

While Roger boasted a face of stone his heart was not as hard and he found himself foolishly following the foolish last wishes of a battered mother under the continuous coaxing of the woman he truly loved and finally had a fighting chance at…

Two couples now wear wedding bands while their individual heart long to roam the single sky again. They find themselves as caged love birds who’s feet are bound to partners they do not recognize nor want to.

Strangely, day by day they find that love is not the gentle dove one reads about but rather a raging phoenix seeking to raptor them in its immolation. Their unwilling duty is a fight to force the flame of love, one couple seeking to reignite it, the other to spark it.

The only concern is…will the success be with that of their respective marital spouses? Time and resilience alone will tell…
