David Reinold was chasing after a terrorist named Grant Enrico. Grant was wanted for releasing toxic gasses on environmentally unsafe planets. He told the government that he would release more of this toxic gas in a highly populated area if the government didn't comply with his wishes. Grant was quick, and could hide easily. This made David the only hope for Earth. He was in close pursuit of Grant, but he just couldn't catch up.

. . . . (skipping a few lines of dialogue) . . . .

"Simple enough!" shouted Grant. He pulled out another explosive and sent it flying towards David. This time, though, David couldn't dodge quick enough. The bomb hit him dead on and knocked him to the ground. It detonated, and brought with it a thick cloud of smoke. The smoke lingered for a while.When the smoke cleared, David could easily be seen. Yet he didn't get up to continue pursuing Grant. He couldn't get up and do such tremendous acts. The bomb had taken it's toll on David with such high magnitude that his body couldn't take it. He was dead.
