Synopsis: Once Upon a Thousand Times
The stuff of daydreams never really mattered to the ordinary accountant. When the princess leaves the tower, though, everything changes
Excerpt: Once Upon a Thousand Times
The dreams ended with childhood’s departure, however, and she grew up, as all children do at some time or another. Dreams were embarrassing, after all. They just did not fit in the jumbled puzzle that embodied adolescence, no matter how she tried to ease them into the alien life that was high school. So she cast them aside like old blocks or cloth dolls, shut into her mind.
Her parents were immensely relieved that their child had finally come to her senses and finally embraced sound, sensible reality. After her twenty-second birthday, the girl started to forget about the dreams that were present in childhood.
