Synopsis: Despot’s Dwelling

Title: I figured I had to have one. So there you go.

The Setting for Adele and Collin:
The World of Them. Completely dominated by a cruel dictator, the people of this world are forced to follow a strict series of rules. Only a few people dare rebel, and those who do always end up dead. Everyone in this world is bald with some sort of blue tattoo. This made sense to me in my earlier ideas, but the reason for them being bald is now lost.

Main Character:
A bald girl with a blue tattoo on her head named Adele. She lives in a giant sky scraper in the center of her world. She has a mother, a stepfather, seven half-siblings, and a younger brother. Her family:
Younger Brother: Collin
Mother: Anastasia
Step-Father: Magnus
Half-Siblings: Marina, Theodore, Edda, Gudrun (all two) and the other three who I can’t remember right now. The other three aren’t important.

Other Main Character:
A girl named Nadine who is eight or nine. Again, I can’t remember and again it doesn’t really matter. She befriends a man named Paulo and the two try to escape this evil dude. The evil dude captures them and forces Paulo to kill her. Fortunately for her, she gets to come back as an extremely annoying and helpful ghost.

Side Character:
Collin, Adele's three year old brother who's really adorable and modeled after Kate's cousin. He's blind because he got acid in his eyes when he was a baby. He’s my FAVORITE!!

Other Side Characters:
-Narius, the hot homeless kid who insisted on being named that… grrrrrr… 
-Cornelius Garbage-Crumple, King of all Garbage. He’s utterly amazing. I’ll leave it at that.

Villains:
-Adele’s creepy two year old half-siblings... they're really weird....
-Adele’s step dad
-Them, the grammatically incorrect evil corporation
-Sebastian, the cliché man who forces Paulo to kill Nadine. He has an obsessive love with explosives.
-I am sorry to the villains I have left out, but if I can’t remember you you’re not important.

Excerpt: Despot’s Dwelling

OK, I have a couple little short ones (seperated by spaces!):

I started to scream as I became engulfed in flame.

Look at her cry, cry, cry,
She’s going to die, die, die,
She looks at the sky, sky, sky,
Wishing to fly, fly, fly away.

“Bad man’s back. Bad man’s back! Don’t let him get me Adly!” Collin looked towards the sky, seeing nothing. Three year olds have more wisdom then thirty five year olds sometimes. Mother didn’t notice it, but Collin was right. The bad man was back.

I wished my stepfather, Magnus, would be eaten by a giant, black crow.

“I don’t see anything funny with this situation.” Theodore told me.
“You don’t see yourself!” I giggled. Theodore shrugged.
“No. I don’t.”

“Anastasia doesn’t bake, Theodore.” Now I knew he was lying. I grabbed his hand and together we marched towards the closet.
“What will I see when I open this door, Theodore?” I hissed. He didn’t look frightened or apologetic. He just continued staring into the distance.
“My sisters.”
I opened the door. Out fell Gudrun, Marina, and Edda. Behind them, inadequately hidden by a water pitcher, lay a long kitchen knife.

“Collin, do you want to bring anything? We’re not coming back.”
“I wanna bring you.”
