Be gentle, it's my first time. I'm juggling NaNo, kids, house, husband, cat (although the cat's pretty easy to cope with in comparison!).

Synopsis: City Under Glass

Gernsback meets Gotham. Cities live, but what happens when they try to be two beings at once? Who would know? And, knowing, could they do anything about it?

Excerpt: City Under Glass

Take a ride.

Look out through the windows.

See the shining of the towers, blind reflections of the dull sky they somehow never pierce. Slender fingers adorned with graceful spires, impossible constructions of the imagination of order. Wreathed in cloud, glimpsed from the ground if you crane your neck and strain your eyes upwards.

Press your open mouth to the glass and wonder why it tastes of blood and metal.
