Brief Author Bio: A while ago, a dear old friend asked me to write a little blurb thing for him on an internet dating site, presumably to inspire female strangers in his locality to feel that he is not a serial killer. Well, he isn't; not as far as I know, anyway. So I obliged. In response from him, once I sent it off to him for his reaction, I got, "But... the Book! The Book!" Reverting to his perpetual insistence, since university, that I ought to be writing... bigger things. Patiently I tried to explain that there is a world of difference between 37 words of Not A Serial Killer and a book. But he'll have none of it. And he's not the only one, either! Come to think of it, this whole thing may be a conspiracy among my friends to get me to shut up for a month! |
