Synopsis: When Gods Fall (current working title)

Humanity has been in a constant state of war/cold war for generations. With the evolution of phychics, war has gotten just that much trickier.

But the Alliance (working*) has made a discovery that just may help them put and end to the war once and for all.

Somewhere, out in the far reaches of space, a little planet known only to the Alliance has gone quiet shortly after two psychcis suddenly turn up in a vegitative state.

Gavin (working*) has been called back into action after a 12 year hiatus and blackmailed into a mission he doesn't even have the clearence to be on due to a special gift he was cursed with at birth.

Not quite phychic, Gavin is an empath with the ability to read, and project emotions onto anyone. Alliance command fears some sort of sabateur on the planet with the ability to neutralize someoen with physic powers, but Gavin's power is different. Hoping he'll be able to get in, read the scientits guit and get the problem handled without the sabateur somehow getting information about the planet out, they make Gavin choose between going or his sister (a phychic who is potentioally in danger of being turned into a vegitable as well) being sent in his place.

When he gets there things turn out to be far worse than anyone could have ever imagined.

There is something on the planet with them, something old, something powerful, something that belives he is a god and has ever intention of making the rest of the galaxy take him as their new saviour, or perish.

Using the scientist and guards that had been stationed on the secret base as a mindless zombie workforce, they dig day and night, getting ever closer to releasing this would be god from the tomb he has been trapped in for the last several hundred thousand years.
