James Lee and his friends Scott and Brian are among Washington's best paranormal agents, but now they have been sent to team up with London's finest: the Department of Impossibilities. In England, they encounter women capable of changing their physical age at will, a historian who can find anything in her extensive library without the aid of a catalogue, and a rockstar who just happens to also be a werewolf.
And that's within the Department and their circle of friends.
