Brief Author Bio: I am twenty-seven years old and have been writing since age five. Along with writing, I am married and have a beautiful son who is not yet a year old. I have a day job at a local bank and in my leftover free time I read, keep an herb and vegetable garden, and craft. I am a lover of history and literature, music and poetry. I love theatre and film, clothing and costumes. A few of my poems and short stories have been published, but I have yet to finish a novel to my satisfaction. Maybe this year will be the year! |

Synopsis:
My novel is a fantasy/historical fiction fusion. It is a merging of faerie stories and legends with our own turbulent past.
In this world, creatures of nautical legend are fact. But this is not Disney's Little Mermaid. This is a siren song, of shifting shapes and transformation. It is a collision of cultures, of rational thought and magic.
