Synopsis: The Prophet's Song
Years after Percy Jackson and his friends Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood saved the world, Camp Half-Blood is at peace again. The borders are tightly secured once more, and there have been no attacks in years. Chiron has had a cabin built for Hades, whose children are now happily making a home at camp.
Mr. D is free to leave Camp Half-Blood once every month and often visits Mount Olympus on these vacations, where it is pretty peaceful once again. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades have agreed that they can have more children as long as they are sent here at the age of seven. Hera has decided that it can't hurt for her to play Zeus's game and has given birth to many offspring that resemble her dream of an ideal, perfect family. Someone even convinced Artemis that not all men are bad, and she is now allowing her Hunters to stay at camp to live a semi-normal life if they wish. Rumor has it that Artemis may be going sweet on a mortal man for the first time ever.
Although peace prevails, there is a mysterious, dangerous new prophecy unfolding. It involves four strong friends and their quest to find righteousness in a plot more sinister and complicated than even the Titan lord Kronos could dream up. Although the quest hints at almost certain death for all four demigods, hope, faith, and courage may bring them out of the underworld. War looms over the future; war that would involve not only the immortal and the half-bloods, but also the mortal, who have no idea what is really going on behind the Mist.
