Synopsis: Shot Through the Knee at the Vampire Riots

Vampires are "out of the coffin" but things go horribly wrong. There are riots. People die. Important people are assassinated. Incubating vampires are kidnapped and their organs are harvested illegally. Their fang venom is used as the new rave drug. Eventually, the vampires go back "into the coffin" and a top secret research team is formed by the government to study the events that have transpired and find out what it was that went so horribly, horribly wrong.

Excerpt: Shot Through the Knee at the Vampire Riots

And then the monkey jumped onto the middle of the kitchen table and snatched the banana right out of Gladys Smith’s hands. She said - Holy shit, there is a monkey in my house! And the monkey said - You are a nasty pug faced woman who doesn’t deserve bananas! To her dismay she watches him scoff it greedily - Nasty, nasty, filthy monkey! she shrieks, but no one is there to hear her; the monkey has made his escape so quickly it was as though he was never there. Gladys Smith begins to doubt her sanity.
