Synopsis: One of a Kind
In a future America where natural childbirth is impossible, having kids is a status symbol and infertility drugs are the only way to make that happen. As a side effect of the drugs, children are almost always born in multiples. 12-year-old Caleb is a social pariah because his parents and twin brother were killed in a fire when Caleb was a toddler. In a world full of twins and triplets, Caleb is an "Only" and destined to be an outcast. When a new girl Rachel shows up at school and tries to befriend him, Caleb doesn't trust her at first. But eventually he will learn that she holds the key to everything that happened in his past... and everything they can do to save the future.
