Synopsis: The Watched Men

In the medieval village of Nagiris, an unseen creature visits during each new moon unless the Watchman is at his post. Should he fail to keep watch for the thing that has never been seen, a victim is found outside the gates in the morning, every drop of blood spilled on the ground yet with no visible wounds. This is the story of Arnot the Watchman, his struggle in duty to keep watch over so many, his agonizing over personal failure in duty, and his resolve to break the power of this terrorizing creature when tragedy strikes close to home, and there is no one else to turn to.
