Brief Author Bio:

In April 2008 I left my job as a training specialist to write full-time. Bad timing, economy-wise, but I'm still hanging in there. My household includes my daughter and her fiance', a half-trained police dog, a four-foot geriatric iguana, and an insane cat. I hold a 5th-degree black belt in Ryu-Te Karate, and for eight years owned my own dojo. This is my first effort at NaNoWriMo.
