Synopsis: Bruises
Natalie Teague ran away from home at age fifteen, three years later, she remembers nothing of the past three years. She encounters Candice Taggart, daughter of an important Council Head. Candice takes her in and when she hears Natalie's story, or lack of one, the two go on a search for the past that Natalie should have forgotten. Twin sisters Bree and Raven Blackwell and city guards Gunther Hemmings and Kaefur Teneon join them on a journey in search of a past, but instead they all find a new future for their world.

A young girl with light strawberry hair stood in front of the door, blocking Natalie's way. In her hand was a thick rolled up piece of paper that had yellowed with age, "Natalie Teague?"
Natalie opened her mouth, astonished, "Yes, but, how did you know my name?"
The girl stepped toward Natalie, "That is of no importance. It was just a lucky guess, actually." She held out the scroll she had for Natalie to take, "I was told, by a mutual friend, to give this to you, should you ever return here." Natalie took the scroll and spun it around, slowly, "I know it says 'Esani' on it, but I was told that it belongs to the one Natalie Teague, formerly of Stoven, Edos." She bowed her head at Natalie before stepping out of the way of the door.
