Brief Author Bio: I'm a recent graduate who wrote my honors thesis on zombie films and spent a semester studying in New Zealand. I love Doctor Who with a burning passion, am incredibly fond of Chinese food, and sometimes spend far too much time daydreaming about having superpowers. Now, I work at Barnes & Nobles and my local library and hope to SOMEDAY get published... You can read more of my writing at: http://www.i-sing-anyway.livejournal.com. |

Synopsis: Weird, USA
Fraternal twins Ben and Charlotte "Charlie" Hawthorne have just lost their favourite uncle, Harry. A bit of a character and very into living an exciting life, Harry leaves the siblings a large portion of his money and the following stipulation: they must spend it on a grand adventure.
The two, being very like their favorite uncle, decide to roadtrip across all 48 of the contiguous states. Beginning in their home state of Maine, the duo -- along with Charlie's best childhood friend Olivia "Liv" Nettles, who has just split with her longtime boyfriend -- set off in search of the weird, the little known, and the exciting parts of the US.
Along the way, the trio will not only find the World's Largest Yam, run into a variety of monsters and myths, or attend Burning Man: they'll also discover more about themselves -- and each other -- than they had ever expected...
