Brief Author Bio:

November looked as if it was going to kick off with a lot of gloom and a ton of doom, but the sun is shining on the first here in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is my first year attempting to complete 50k word count in 30 days and I could not be more excited for what awaits on the beautiful autumn horizon. I have recently entered the realm of daytime working so there are a plethora of evening available to me now for drafting my first novel!

See you at the finish line!

Synopsis: Meatspy

Everyone always wondered whether or not robots would one day try to take over the world, and now that day has come and gone. In an age where people live much longer than past life expectancies, the military holds complete rights to the bodies and free will of their soldiers and humans play espionage games with their AI opponents, a small military base in the downtown area of Three Rivers stands off with their "Meatspies".

Excerpt: Meatspy

Portentously the tenebrous night crept over the abandoned streets of Downtown as a curfew alarm rattled the windows of battered apartments looming over the city, and within soldiers and civilians alike went on with their daily routines just as though silence was all that echoed through the dark. Times were changing more rapidly than anyone could notice, but the human condition is apt to redefining itself based on its surrounding milieu, with no exception during the trying times of the AI rebellion. All across the globe cities were divided and barricaded to keep rebel forces out when human governments forcible declined the requests of Android ambassadors the rights of autonomy. In hindsight, those responsible for the Freedom of Will voluntary upgrade on all models of Artificial Intelligence slammed their heads against their desks in unison. Or as a few cases report, the sudden urge for a scientist or two to take up jumping off extremely high buildings.
Public opinion dubbed those incidences as “odd hobbies” as to not upset any small children or elderly citizens overhearing their conversations in polite company.
