Brief Author Bio: This is my first year doing NaNoWriMo. I think I'm insane quite frankly, seeing as I have never finished anything over ten pages long - although I am almost done with a fanfiction that is currently at 60,000 words! Of course, that wasn't done in a month . . . regardless, I want to try. Like everyone else, of course. I'm a high-school student, in tenth grade at the moment, and will be in eleventh next year when I participate. I'm a high honors student, which will make it even harder for me to balance writing and schoolwork - I'll probably end up writing while dodging crowds in the hall if I ever have a hope of succeeding. I don't have much of a social life, although I do have a few close friends. Beyond writing, I'm rather active in LGBT work, and growing more and more passionate by the day. Please excuse my ineloquency, as my brain checks out for the night at approximately 9 o'clock every night - about two hours ago. |

Synopsis: Blind Nation
The United States has had some rather nasty run-ins with the rest of the world, and other nations' opinions of it are not so great. The States realize this and withdraw into a policity of isolationism and terror to protect themselves against any negative action the rest of the world may take against them.
Kwang-Ho, Gabriel, Kaylee, and Alexis are oddities living in the isolationist state. They are surrounded by people who care only for the U.S.A, but who do understand any other country in the world. The four form a small group who keeps in contact with the rest of the world via the internet and satallite connections, but take many measures to keep their work secret. If they are found out, they know, they will be labelled as terrorists and forced to live a horrible existence.
Unfortunately, their lives are completely uprooted when Trey, a young counterterrorist agent, stumbles across them.
