Synopsis:

Anastasia is a musicaly talented person who speaks her feeling through music and lyrics. She is living during the 1960's, observing the Civil rights movement and expieriencing the effects of the Vientam War.
Against the will of her parents and fellow citizens she is opposed to the beliefs of a racist. This hinders her relationship with her father.
Anastasia falls inlove with a friend of the family who is a srong racist. This hurts their relationship also.
When the war starts they soon realize their faults.
Anastasia looses her father and realizes that she cannot let a political difference come between you and someone you love.
The person she falls inlove with is forced to fight with some colored men and realizes they have a soul and a heart just as he does. He soon realizes the fault of his pride.
Anastasia cannot wait for him to come home so she can show him that she loves him despite there differences (she does not know he has changed) He cannot wait to go home to tell her that he has changed.
Anastasia gets the letter telling her that the one she loves is missing in action. She dreads the day of her fathers funeral, but will it be the worst day of her life?
