Synopsis: The Wanderlust Cartel

Campion Stone has dreamed of becoming a journalist since she was a little girl. Now, as she approaches thirty, she finds her career choice is far less glamourous and exotic than she'd fantasized. After being passed over for promotion and becoming personally involved with her work rival, she wonders if she can pack a bag and walk away from her life the way her mother left it all behind so many years ago when she walked out on Campion and her father.

With no money, no plan, and nowhere to go, she hops the first bus out of Denver and sets out to meet her destiny. From San Fransisco to Sri Lanka, Campion searches for answers as she casts off everyone's expectations of her and learns what to demand from herself. When she finally returns home, she finds her country in disarray and her profession on the brink of extinction. Will she fight for the truth she valued as a child, or will she forget her fears and follow a new path?
