Synopsis: The Stone Tower

With the weakening of the Wall, the Steward of the Shattered Cities has commanded that the Temple mages be taught to conduct the sacred rituals of the Crippled God, freeing the Wardens to focus on the defense of the kingdom. This brings about a corresponding rise in status for the mages, which catapults them to the status of a new faction in the Court of Stone. Even as the Court struggles to absorb this latest of the Steward's decrees, the Steward's vassals on the frontier are scheming to increase their autonomy.
