Synopsis: Lines
Arleth never stood out in the crowd and never felt like there was any purpose in her life. She's about to discover why. Strange dreams and feelings of dejavu are just the beginning of something bigger than she could have imagined and it all preludes a journey to the begining and end of all life.
Excerpt: Lines
The threads glowed softly in the endless dark, the wood of the loom looked golden in their light. Two cloaked figures stood over a body that lay motionless on the floor. As the light dimmed the two figures whispered in unison.
“Fate-less.”

The ball hit his foot and rolled into the road. The child followed. He didn't even see the car approaching fast.
Time seemed to slow for Arleth, something she was later sure was because of adrenaline. The car was closing the distance between its bonnet and the little boy quickly, but Arleth was faster. She took two large strides off the curb and wrapped her arms around him. Stepping backwards quickly the car passed, only ruffling the boys hair. There was a moment when everything was silent, the people at the bus stop all stood shocked, this was only for a fraction of a second, but to Arleth it lasted much longer. All at once time was normal again. The boy in her arms screwed his face up and began crying in confusion as his mother stepped forward and pulled him from Arleths arms.
