Brief Author Bio: I'm Amber. I live somewhere you most likely haven't heard of. If you have, you will probably imagine it's some kind of romantic wonderland. (It's not.) I've never done NaNoWriMo before, but hey, any excuse to procrastinate against my school coursework. |

Synopsis: Bruises.
There are some people who try to grow up too fast; there are some people who are forced into it. There are some people who never grow up at all.
They can escape into poetry, can try to live their lives like a movie, but one day reality will hit. Some learn to live on. For others, it's not so easy.
Amara Innis, Jarvis Shy and Colin Hanley are proof that true love doesn't always last forever--or even two months.
Excerpt: Bruises.
A,
this is russian roulette,
this is playing games
with tragedy.
but even if it ends in bullets,
if society leaves bruises
on our throats,
it takes more than sunshine
to make a rainbow.
you know it, J knows it, I know it.

ps. told you my poetry was awful.
