Brief Author Bio:

Mother and grandmother (known as Mema to my granddaughter), I am a long time advocate for the underdog in society - whether it be a child, elderly person, victim of crime or victim of domestic violence. Much of my career has surrounded paralegal centered roles; however, underlining of it all has always been rooted in advocacy roles. To provide a flipside to that culture, I revert to DJing as a means to enjoy music, talking to people and living life from a different perspective from time to time. For the month of November though, I'll be taking a break from DJing as I venture ahead with this novel writing; however, look for me to be DJing again on Sunday afternoons from 3-7p EST the first Sunday in December.

At this time, the best I have been published is in newsletters and short articles of interest, as well as a multitude of blogs; however, I do aspire to do more. This event is part of that aspiration to achieve more with my writing and research skills.

This year it is going to be a novel revolving around sextrading/human trafficking here in America and abroad. Check back to see the outcome of my adventure this year.

For the seasoned authors: Any tips/suggestions for finding a literary agent to promote manuscript for publications, etc, would be greatly appreciated. :D
