Synopsis: Stephanie Stong

Stephanie Stong, 14, is popular and loves jazz ballet. Her father wants more family time so they move from Sydney to Toowoomba. Both Stephanie and her 10-year-old sister April hate the move. Stephanie cannot find friends and stops dancing. She spends most of her time on the phone.

Before Stephanie’s 15th birthday a popular boy, Jason, asks her out on a date. She accepts, hoping to make friends. She soon brakes her ‘no sex’ rule and lives a double life. Steph follows Jason to Sydney and moves in with her best friend.

Stephanie rarely sees her best friend and spends all her time with Jason. They take party drugs and soon Jason is addicted. Stephanie drops out of school to pay for Jason’s drugs. He forces her to work in obcure jobs that lands her in more trouble. She is disgusted with where she is working. Jason's controlling brutality lands her in hospital.
Can she get out of this horrific situation alive?
