Brief Author Bio: I'm a 30-something year-old college student, vegan, animal rights activist, crafter, obsessive DIY'er, artist, student of the Morningstar Mystery School and Kali Vidya, and author. I meditate every day, make my own booze, and love zombies. You know, just the standard girl next door. I placed in a contest on the For the Girls website with my erotica piece entitled "Stall" and my flash fiction zombie story entitled" L'Académie des Petits Morts" won honorable mention in the 2008 Ligonier Valley Writers halloween contest. I'm still trying to find a market for my short story "Urine Love" which is a dark fiction piece and am considering expanding my short erotic story, "Mutiny on the Danika Blue," into a novella for NaNoWriMo 2009. I'm also married to the coolest dude I know and am a mom to a special needs son that keeps me hoppin'. I act a fool on my Wii Fit on a regular basis and in my spare time (yuk, yuk, yuk) I'm writing a cookbook. I'm obsessed with nooch (nutritional yeast), chai, and pumpkin and spend a lot of my time canning, making my own liqueurs. and preparing for the ensuing zombie breakout. |
