Synopsis: Duty

Princess Genevieve de Benai was 6 when she first met her best friend, Edwin. He was adopted by the castle cook after his family perished of an incurable disease. She had never thought of him as anything more than a friend. That is, until the day of her 16th birthday and coming-of-age ball. She knew she was going to be proposed to by Prince Charles of Dohlr, Edwin's home country, but, on the morning of her ball, she and Edwin shared a kiss, and it caused everything to go topsy-turvey.
Edwin and Genevieve are willing to risk everything for their newfound love, but will love be enough to get them through everything their actions have set in motion?
