Synopsis: The Goddess Loalei
Many, many cycles ago the island of Matea was under siege and her people threatened with enslavement. Their savior came in the form of a young female warrior who was thought to have possessed the spirit of the island herself. The warrior carved a path for victory for her people before her sudden and violent death. This is the legend of the warrior Loalei.
Centuries have passed and the people have forgotten the old ways, choosing to advance as a people rather then as the spiritual descendants of the island. The spirits have retreated and gone into slumber and the island of Matea lies quiet and unresponsive to her inhabitants.
Now once again the isle is about to be engulfed by invasion, and the people of Matea are ill prepared for the coming storm. Their only hope will lay with the island and her spirits once again, for that is the story of The Goddess Loalei.
