Synopsis: Talbot & Bastard: Sweet Dreams
"So, wait, lemme get this straight... we have to figure out how three people got killed in completely impossible ways, and the only thing they had in common was the fact that they were asleep when they died? Plus work out why there's a bloodless girl that may or may not be related? All by ourselves?" Bernie asked, making no effort to hide his incredulity.
I shrugged. "Pretty much."
"That's bullshit."
"Welcome to my world, kid."
Having now obtained Bernie, a science student who got into the business "for the experience," Marcus Talbot and his dog Bastard are called upon to figure out who's killing people... creatively in their sleep. On top of that, there's an exsanguinated corpse in the morgue that has everyone else baffled and is giving Marcus uncomfortable ideas.
