Bad Math
an excerpt
The first kiss was as chaste as a kiss on the lips could be, but it made Betsy’s knees buckle. Now, Michael was a mighty fine lip locker, but his most powerful kiss was like a whirlwind compared to the full fledged tornado that was sweeping her off her feet. Adeo’s arms came around her and she gladly melted into him for a second kiss… and a third, or maybe it was a seventh. She lost count and track of time when the pad of his thumb traced a lazy trail on her neck. It could have been five minutes or two hours later when he finally broke off the kiss.
“Shall we go now?”
“Go where?” She asked hazily.
“Home.”
“I am home.”
“My home. Your new home, with me. Is there anything you’d like to take with you?"
There was nothing like being dumped over the head with a bucket of ice after a long relaxing steaming barrier lowering shower. If nothing else, it seriously pissed her off.
