Synopsis:
Look, I didn't want to form a counter-invasionary force during my junior year of high school. But then again, I didn't plan to be the one who discovers that fairies were invading. And they have kidnapped my best friends. So now it is just Tara and I against hoards of mutant nasties. How do you like those odds?
Excerpt:
Tara was the only person I had ever met with an iPod full of fifteenth century dance music. She was the first person I met with a working knowledge of ways to make yourself invisible to fairies—the fae folk, pardon. She was the only one who had a lot of the information we needed. Still, I was pretty thankful she was there. I didn’t think she was just my weird, kooky neighbor who I had played with when I was a kid anymore. She was a lifeline.
But she also wasn’t normal.
