Synopsis: Darkly Dreaming

Alongside our world exists another; long forgotten and yet intricately bound to our own. This mirror world is known as the Dreaming, a place filled with the fantastic and impossible. The two planes have existed in symbiotic balance since time immemorial.

Until now.

Something is happening within the Dreaming; a creeping darkness consumes it, warping the land and twisting the creatures; driving the denizens to madness. The instability of the Dreaming is spilling over into our world, the Waking. The disturbances are small, but they continue to grow, becoming more and more catastrophic as time passes. If something is not done soon, the tenuous balance of both worlds will collapse.
