It all began with laundry day.
If it had not been for the lone sock that worked its lonely way out of the laundry basket, I may never have found it again.
The book was ensconced behind the vacuum cleaner, beneath the spare hangers and clothes I have not seen, let alone worn, in decades. Curiosity got the best of me, and as soon as I tracked down the errant sock, I shifted aside the vacuum cleaner, shoved aside the hangers and far out dated clothing, and brushed off the layers of dust that had somehow managed to reach the leather bound cover of the book. I sat back on my heels and opened the cover, staring at the hastily scrawled Sharpie on the first blank page:
