Synopsis: So Your A Zombie...

A Zombie plague has befallen Basin Falls, a quaint mountain city that hasn’t quite caught up with the times. It is a vintage city recalling scenes from old movies and early television shows. In this city there are good areas, or zones, and bad, or ‘dead,’ zones. In the safe zones people work and live. The dead zones, however, are a veritable no-man’s land, areas ravaged and swamped by the living dead. No man or woman in his or her right mind dares venture there. And when they do, there lives are never the same.

Take Rickie, for example. Her life was going well—as well as one’s life can go in this environment—until she unfortunately, and accidentally, ventures into the dead zone.

One night, while leaving work later than she should safely be outdoors, she decides to take a short cut that leads her into the bad part of the city. Zombies are everywhere, and she soon realizes that she has, in fact, wandered into the dead zone. With fresh flesh in the area, it’s only a matter of time before she’s being chased and terrorized by zombies. They chase her into an alley and corner her. It looks like she’s about to join the ranks of the undead. When, out of nowhere, someone leaps from the shadows and fights off the hordes of zombies. It turns out that that someone is not a someone at all, but rather a something.

Its name is Tod, and Tod is a zombie.
