Upon his return to Baron, Captain Kain Highwind finds himself struggling to atone for his past misdeeds. As the political situation grows more dire for his lifelong friend and King, Kain finds himself entrenched in a struggle to save his friend, his kingdom, and himself. Though it is possible to return home, it is rarely possible to return affairs to their previous state. Sometimes the only course of action is to move forward.
