Synopsis: Daughter of Kings

The desert kingdom of Hadra is torn between two powerful families with an uneasy marriage serving as the tentative olive branch, holding civil war at bay. Hattara, the young princess, is thrust into the center of this power struggle when her father is murdered, forcing her to flee her childhood home in order to take refuge in the mountains. As her country verges on the edge of famine under harsh rule and the cruel hand of drought, Hattara realizes that she's pregnant and that her last hope of regaining her throne may be to marry the pretender king. The young queen must put not only her freedom, but the man she loves aside in order to do what's best for her people.
