Synopsis: The Nephilim Chronicles: "If It Offend Thee"

The battle for earth continues. The first blow against the powers of Hell has been made and the most famous of Nephilim, Daniel Sommers, his son David, and his surviving friends must run and hide. With the forces of light starting to move, the anti-christ strikes back, in order to spread fear through those who might oppose him, has begun requiring marks of loyalty for those that remain. For those that take the mark of loyalty there will be gifts and freedom, they will be permitted to buy and sell in the marketplace, they will be able to move freely between the zones, and they will be free citizens of the planet; for those that do not take the mark of loyalty...guillotines have been set up to remove the disloyal from his plate. Daniel and his crew are in a flimsy hiding place as the noose begins to tighten. Will Daniel lose more people who are close to him or will they escape to fight another day in a world that continues to darken.
